Matthew Willcox, Executive Director

As Executive Director of Draftfcb’s Institute of Decision Making, and part of the agency’s Global Capabilities team, Matthew’s charge is to help the network deepen its understanding of human decision making. Matthew’s background is in communications strategy, and in his previous role as Director of Strategic Planning of Draftfcb San Francisco, he helped companies such as Electronic Arts, Levi Strauss & Co, Del Monte, Hilton Hotel Corporation, AT&T and MTV make more interesting and effective connections with their audiences. He and his team’s work in this role has netted eight Effie awards in the last three years. John Kenny

John Kenny has been with DraftFCB Chicago for five years, working in sectors as diverse as Healthcare, Technology, Alcohol and Telecommunications. Prior to that, John was a planner at Diageo Europe, and before that working with C&R Research, a market research consultancy. Dr. Rosa Kriesche, Vienna

Rosa is head of strategy and new business at Draftfcb Vienna. Her prior work experience includes senior digital roles both in Austria and the US at OMD, as well as a spell studying web design at the Pratt Institute, giving her a strong digital perspective to match her passion for understanding consumer decision-making.  Rosa’s PhD is in marketing from Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration. David Thomason, Aukland (DT)

DT spent the first half of his 25 years in advertising in creative, ultimately as a Creative Director. For the last 12 he’s worked as a Planning Director, with previous roles at Grey and DDB.

DT’s been instrumental in driving DraftFCB New Zealand’s high profile ‘Behaviour Change’ philosophy. This has led to a spectacular run of effectiveness accolades in recent years, including Most Effective Agency at the 2011 Effie Awards. The office is also ranked most effective in the world for social change, based on their work for the Ministry of Health, Ministry of Social Development and ALAC (reducing alcohol-related harms).
